Life is Sweet! Love is Sweet! Relish the moment!
"I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly." John 10:10
Labor Day at the beach!
Here are some photos from our recent trip to Port Aransas. We had a lot of fun and the twins really enjoyed playing in the sand....not the water so much. Logan and Alexis were such a huge help to Glenn and I as always....they are the best. Enjoy!
Recently, Glenn decided it was finally time to give the ol' Sequoia a good wash. I had no idea this was in his plan that day after treating Lexi and Logan to breakfast and running errands, etc.... Shortly after their arrival, I heard a bunch of happy screams, looked out the window and all of the neighborhood kids joined in the fun to wash his car! I ran outside to take a few quick pics, only because the twins were napping and I could do so. :) Glenn was blaring K-love from the car as most of the popular praise and worship songs played.....the kids were singing the words as they scrubbed the car and played! IT was a sweet moment!
Before viewing slideshow, scroll down to bottom of page and hit pause on my play list...thanks! This trip was a great time had by all last weekend at the Swank Ranch -- Family Spring Fling! It was so fun seeing you all, catching up and having all the little ones play together! Our family has definitely grown! We are all so blessed.....enjoy!
Here are Pierce and Jack on their 1st birthday.....posing for the camera!! I can't believe it took a full year to finally have my photo taken with them. That day was a special one and many memories were made. God bless you babes, you truly are a double blessing from God! You were perfectly made!
Tomorrow Pierce and Jack turn one! I am on the verge of tears thinking about a year ago tonight. Glenn and I were at the hospital and awaiting a c-section the next morning at 9am! We discussed names, visited with old friends and prayed to God for TWO HEALTHY BABY BOYS! Praise Him, for that is what we received! We are so blessed and I still can't believe God chose little ol' me to be the mother of four beautiful children! Thank you! We'll be in touch over the next couple of days with updated photos of their special day! Much love, The Winship Clan
Since we're moving soon, I want to eventually update some of the rooms and their decor. I am a fan of the french chic look and was describing some of my thoughts for the new house with my neighbor this weekend. She shared a blog she recently stumbled upon and I've fallen in love with it's Houston-based creator/interior designer, her ideas and her entries.....not to mention the posted links to other sites and blogs. When you have a moment, check it out. You're sure to find many ideas! http://www.cotedetexas.blogspot.com. Thanks Kate!!
I love life and believe it is SWEET! I truly live for the moment because as we know so well, it passes by way too quickly. I am truly blessed to have my husband, Glenn in my life. The dedicated and loving husband that he is makes me continually want to be a better person. He is my rock and he completes me. God has blessed us with two precious, healthy children Logan and Alexis. He has also double blessed us with identical twin boys, Pierce and Jack. As far as my interests go.....I love spending time with my family enjoying lifes simple pleasures, ie: playing basketball in the driveway, swimming in the backyard, playing hide-n-seek, etc. I also like working on digital scrapbooks, reading, working out, needlepoint and the fine arts. Oh, and I love watching the Spurs games!! :)
We hope you enjoy keeping up with us THE WINSHIP WAY!
